Bol is a town on the south of the island of Brač in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia. Bol (its name derives from the Latin word "vallum") is renowned for its most popular beach, the Zlatni rat ("Golden cape").
In the centre of Bol there are just a few shops, a supermarket, a post office and a bank. The streets are narrow and the buildings very old which gives the town an 'old worldly' feeling.
